Billy Davis, R and B Legend from Detroit, will play at the Bull Run Restaurant, in Shirley, MA, on October 3, 2003. Opening for Billy will be Greater Boston top blues band, Beale Street Blues Band.

Beale Street is oneof the top blues bands in the Greater Boston area. The band has been together for five years. The band is led by vocalist, Ed Langille. Beale Street Blues Band has performed throughout Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island. The band is known for its verstility of blues styles, performing traditional, contemporary and blues-rock, as well as occassional R&B, soul or Southern Rock tune.

At the Bull Run Restaurant, long-standing venue in the area, known for bringing talent from many genres, The Bull Run likes to have local talent as often as possible. Bringing Beale Street Blues Band is an example of that committment to local talent.

In addition to performing regularly with Beale Street, vocalist Ed Langille has also performed at Boston's Symphony Hall as well as a number of other venues with Harvey Robbins's Rock 'N Roll Allstars. Most recently, Ed was a special invited guest to join Parker Wheeler and friends during his weekly Sunday night performance in Newburyport, MA. Ed's powerful and soulful vocals have been compared to Gregg Allman and have developed a substantial and faithful following for Beale Street.

The band consists of the finest musicians including guitarist Peter Zins. Peter has won first place in an ASCAP Songwriter's Award in New York, as well as having opened for such notables as Johnny Winter, Grand Funk Railroad, Chuck Leavell (of the Rolling Stones) and Eric Clapton, to name just a few. Other band members have recorded with Ronnie Earl (regularly booked at the Bull Run Restaurant), and all bring to Beale Street a diverse and telented background.
