Bonnie Leigh, CMP, has an active career performing traditional and original music along the east coast for a wide variety of audiences. She writes songs of life, love, family and the outdoors and captures her audiences with her gentle soft voice. You can find her performing and teaching at festivals, schools, libraries, coffeehouses, nursing homes, clubs and meetings and historical villages with programs for children to adults. Starting her music in 1990, Bonnie has quickly become a well sought after performer and teacher.
You find Bonnie teaching the history of and playing traditional instruments like mountain dulcimer, hammered dulcimer, autoharp, banjo, harp and the spoons.
As a Certified Music Practitioner, Bonnie uses the harp and the mountain dulcimer to provide healing and relaxing music to patients in hospitals and nursing homes.
Bonnie has self produced four recordings all with accompanying songbooks, three poem books and a book about the internship of a music practitioner.
