Strawberries Chain Joins Bull Run Ticket Outlets

SHIRLEY, MA. June 10, 2001 - Tickets to evening shows at the Bull Run Restaurant of Shirley are now available at all Strawberries Music and Video Stores. Strawberries will sell Bull Run tickets at the discounted advanced-sale price, even on the day of the show, plus a small administrative fee.
The arrangement is the latest in a series of initiatives by the Bull Run Restaurant to reach out to music fans. In addition to Strawberries, tickets can be reserved (but not purchased) at the discounted advanced-sale price at: Action Music & Sound (Acton, Gardner and Leominster); Music Box (Fitchburg); Centre Music House (Framingham); University Music (Lowell); Robinson Music Co (Marlborough & Westborough); and Bearly Read Books (Sudbury).
The Bull Run also operates a season-ticket scheme that offers free shows and free appetizers to their regular concert goers.
The Bull Run Restaurant hosts shows most weekends throughout the year, offering the full spectrum of the Americana genre, including blues, folk, bluegrass, R & B, country swing, jazz, and more. Upcoming headliners include Colin Hay (Men at Work), Ronnie Earl, Slaid Cleaves, and Tom Rush. Opening acts range from local to national touring artists, such as Dave Norton, Johnny Girouard, Carl Goddard, Charley Dee, and Michael Aaron.
Strawberries is a chain of music and video retail stores, and has been a ticket outlet for a wide variety of shows and venues in the northeast for over 20 years. With 84 locations throughout New England and New York, Strawberries has sold tickets to over 10,000 shows in over 500 venues in the past 2 years.
