Saturday, Oct. 6 - Mark Marquis: Distinctive jazz/rock guitarist/pianist Marquis has been performing throughout New England for 25+ years. His recent CD Invisible Ray is critically acclaimed. OPENING ACT ERIC LILLJEQUIST, a veteran of the folk/rock scene who has performed with Tom Rush, Chuck Berry, Bonnie Raitt, Bo Diddley and The Allman Brothers. $10 in advance, $14 day of show.
Fri. Oct 12 - Too Human / Fishken & Groves ( split bill) : Too Human: Their songs were recorded by Cher, Pat Benatar, Teddy Prendergrass, Nancy Wilson, Jack Wagner, Nancy Murray and others. Their music encompasses jazz, blues, and contemporary folk as demonstrated on their recent CD True. Guest musicians on True include Dave Mattacks ( Fairport Convention) , Mary Chapin Carpenter, Marty Wash ( Supertramp) , and Billy Novick, to name but a few. Fishken & Groves have just released their debut CD Going to the West, a collection of 14 familiar folk tunes with beautiful guy and gal harmony renditions of Reason to Believe, Your Cheatin' Heart, Ghost Riders in the Sky, and others. $8 in advance, $12 day of show.

Susan has won awards and countrywide accolades for her mountain dulcimer and banjo prowess. Her magic stems from her ability to link the tranquil images of traditional rural America to contemporary life, exemplified in her three best-selling solo recordings, What the Hill People Say, Tree of Life, and Live at Caffe Lena. $10 in advance, $14 day of show.
Fri. Oct 19 - Steve Forbert: One of the most gifted songwriters and performers in contemporary folk rock who, with the right lyric, can turn your head with just a whisper. His hit "Romeo's Tune" established him as a fresh face on the folk rock scene in the late 70's. His ninth studio album, "Evergreen Boy," was recorded in Memphis with legendary producer Jim Dickinson. OPENING ACT JOHNNY GIROUARD. $12 in advance, $16 day of show.

Oct 27 - Nate Borofsky / Dan Hart ( Split Bill) : Borofsky: Groton native and 2001 Boston Music Award winner fuses the sensitive, the angry and the tongue-in-cheek, into his own blend of power folk, influenced more by Ani DiFranco than Woodie Guthrie. Boston Magazine said, "It's damn hard to get his simple but playful tunes out of your head." Hart: Worcester Phoenix nominated Hart for Best Solo Artist, and his CD Apocalypse Now and Then for Best CD. $8 in advance, $12 day of show.
