The fireplaces here were not built yesterday; they have roared for over 200 winters.
The history of our Tavern and Innkeeper Obadiah Sawtelle dates back to 1740
and we've been serving the Tired, Thirsty traveler ever since!
In 2021, as part of the 75th Anniversary celebration of Bull Run in our family, we offered patrons a chance to cement their place in history with a permanent brick in our famous Bull Run "Walk of Fame".
It was so popular we are bringing it back, with more bricks along the walkway
and across from our Covered Bridge in 2022!
Buy a brick, personalize it with your name, company with logo and/or a personal message. Your high quality, laser engraved brick will be embedded in our walkway for posterity! As with the last round, we'll throw an outdoor cocktail party to celebrate once all the new bricks are in!
